| Record of the marriage of Agnes Barton to a Mr. William Arnold was traced in the Liverpool Reference Library through entries in the St. John's Church Marriage register, her brother Alexander Barton and sister-in-law Frances Barton (nee Lawson) being thewitnesses. Old Street Directories reveal that William Arnold and Alexander barton had brass foundries in the center of Liverpool between 1850 and 1860. |
