Charles Bourn fathered my Grandmother Beulah Putnam with my Great Grandmother Lucy Putnam. She was his servant. I know that He fathered a total of 4 children with Lucy and Mother Bourn (Ida) took care of them while Lucy worked hard on the farm. When he died, the children and Lucy were left property. My grandmother Beulah sold hers to move and marry my grandfather. I have had little luck in Lucy's burial spot. I have been told various things but I was told last that she was buried in the Bourn Cemetery. Any information you could give regarding them would be helpful. |
