Edward Dudley (son of Robert Dudley) of Bristol, Eng.; marr. Elizabeth Pritchard (daughter of Hester Pritchard of Bristol, who mentioned her daughter Elizabeth Dudley in her will). Abt. April 1637, Edward Dudley and four other persons were transported by Rev. Thomas Hampton who received 30 acres compensation in New Norfolk (now Nansemond) per VA Land Patents Book 1, pg. 422). Thomas Hampton was Rector of Wilmington Parish Church at Jamestown, VA in 1645 and Rector of Hampton Parish, York Co. in 1646.)
