| Catherine supposedly never married, but was the mother of at least three children. One child, Jacob, was supposed to have been the son of ? Boone. A second son, Thomas, was supposed to have been the son of ? Campbell. The father of a third son, Daniel, is unknown. Jacob and Thomas apparently used the name of their respective fathers, in as much as census offers supporting evidence. To further complicate the matter, Thomas Cogar/Campbell used both names at different points in time, as did Thomas' descendants as recently as the early 1900's. Listed in the household of Jacob and Margaret Boon in 1850 Gilmer Co., WV Census. Listed in the household of Thomas and Annie Campbell in 1870 Calhoun Co., WV Census. Her age is given as 99, but this is probably 79. Child of CATHERINE COGER and (-) BOONE is: 12. i. JACOB3 BOONE, b. abt. 1805. Child of CATHERINE COGER and (-) CAMPBELL is: 13. ii.
