Ann L. Semple Ann L. Semple 83, passed away at home on Jan. 9, 2013. Ann was born June 16, 1929 to the late Ralph Sr. and Edna Miller. She married C.R. Semple on Sept. 8, 1954. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in North Canton for 30 years. She was a graduate of Jackson High School class of 1947. Ann was a member of the Canton Chapter #332 of the Women Of The Moose for almost 50 years and was proud to hold College of Regents Degree and Star Recorder Degree. She was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Eagles #2223 for the past year. Ann was a receptionist for Beaver Excavating and had the distinction of being the first woman to retire from there. She was known for her baking and was an avid rubber stamp artist. Ann is survived by her daughters, Carol-Ann Huff and Barbara Semple; and her grandsons, Andrew (Mariane) Huff and Eric (Jennifer) Huff; a brother, Ralph Jr. (Shirley) Miller; and sisters, Donna (Jerry) Road and Linda (Robert) Lancashire; and 17 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Semple; parents, Ralph Sr. and Edna Miller; sister, Betty Youles; son-in-law, Rodney Huff; in-laws, John and Loree Semple; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jason and Evelyn Semple. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice for her amazing care during the last few weeks. Memorial services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church (349 Lindy Lane, N. Canton) on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. Pastor Mark Sherwindt officiating.
