| Alpheus Poage Wilson - b. 1794 - d. 1830. Born at Morgantown on 2 March 1794. He was admitted to the bar in 1821, the same year he married Eliza Evans of Spring Hill Township, Pa. In 1819 he served in the House of General Assembly. He operated The Dickers Creek Iron Works, Pa., taking charge in 1825. A.P. Wilson fell from a barge near Brownsville, Pa., and was drowned at age 36, 10 Feb. 1830. |
