Elizabeth was a passenger on the Bremen ship "Roland". The ship sailed from Bremen, Germany to Baltimore, Maryland. Her age was listed as twenty and she apparently traveled alone. Elizabeth Mittendorf was small of statue and very sickly child. She was sent to America hoping that the climate and/or medical care would improve her health problems.
