| In the "Brethren From Gimbshim" booklet by Annette K. Burgert, it is stated that there is a notation in the Gimbsheim church book that he "died in America." No date given. In the Ephrata Register it states "Died 1751 - Bolsner (Bolner), Michael, from Gimbsheim Revival." Since the only person named in that group who had a name close to that was Michael Beltzer (most of the names seem somewhat altered) I have concluded that must be the same person. If Michael took his young cousins, Jacob and Conrad under his charge upon arrival in America and if Michael did die in 1751, perhaps that would explain the boys' appearance in Orphan's Court in December 1751. |
